How to use this guide

Olympic National Park is listed in Washington. People talk about it as several landscapes in one park. This page does not repeat that slogan as a measured fact, because a static guide should not assign you a coast, a forest, or a mountain as if they were equally available on the day you arrive. The directions page is how you find out which approach you are actually using.

The centroid is one point for a large, complicated boundary. Straight-line miles to other Washington parks are a way to see neighbors on the map. They are not drive times along the peninsula. The visitation chart is the historic entry record, and the park’s safety page did not respond at the standard address we checked, so start from the park home for safety notes.

Official pages

These links were checked when the site was built. A working link is not a live feed. If a standard address did not respond, it is omitted.

Nearest other national parks

Distances are great-circle miles between boundary centroids. They are not road distances or travel times.
