How to use this guide
Virgin Islands National Park is the national park the system list places in the Virgin Islands. The atlas draws a separate inset, at its own scale, using a 1:50,000,000 shoreline because the national 1:110,000,000 map does not resolve these islands. The centroid is not a ferry dock and not a beach access.
The monthly record peaks outside the June–August window that describes many continental parks. That is history, not a hurricane forecast and not a statement that a month is calm. Storms, marine conditions, and concession schedules outrun a static page. Use the park’s conditions and directions pages, and do not treat a straight-line distance to a mainland park as a travel plan.
