How to use this guide
The National Park of American Samoa is the national park on the system list in American Samoa. The atlas gives it a separate inset because it does not sit on the North American mainland, and because the 1:110,000,000 shoreline set does not draw these islands. The inset uses a coarser 1:50,000,000 shoreline. The boundary centroid can fall in the water between islands. That is a geometry outcome, not a landing point.
The acreage report lists 0.00 NPS fee acres and a separate gross area. This page repeats those two columns and does not invent the land arrangement behind the zero. Flights, village protocols, and sea conditions are on the park’s directions and conditions pages. One of the standard directions addresses we checked did not respond; use the park home if a specific link is missing.
